Community Hospice & Palliative Care’s 35th Annual Tree of Life Brings Hundreds Together in St. Augustine for an Evening of Remembrance - Saint Augustine, FL
Community Hospice & Palliative Care welcomed families and friends to the 35th Annual Tree of Life and Candlelight Service of Remembrance last night at the Stephen R. Chapman Family Community Campus in St. Augustine. Guests gathered for music at 5:45 p.m. and a candlelight service, which began at 6 p.m., honoring loved ones with personalized memorial ribbons and quiet reflection.
Illuminated trees were adorned with ribbons dedicated to spouses, parents, children, neighbors, and friends, including special trees recognizing Community Hospice’s youngest patients and children from across the community. A memory table invited attendees to display photos and keepsakes, creating a space for sharing stories, expressing gratitude, and commemorating remembrance. Many community members who could not attend in person joined by livestream to participate from home.
The free community event was supported by Community Hospice & Palliative Care staff and volunteers who greeted guests, helped with ribbon personalization and provided hospitality throughout the evening. The organization extends its thanks to all who participated and to the many caregivers, partners, and neighbors whose contributions helped make the night meaningful and serene.
Community Hospice & Palliative Care continues its mission to provide compassionate care and bereavement support for patients and families across Northeast and North Central Florida.
