The Culver Lakefest team is an all-volunteer, non-profit group committed to giving back to the Culver Community by raising funds to plan and host a weekend of family-friendly activities and entertainment, and by offering opportunities for community groups, civic organizations and businesses to raise funds to help them achieve their goals.

Friday, July 18, 2025

4:00 p.m: Food, Arts, Crafts, Commercial Booths, and Games - Until 10 pm

4:00 p.m: Kids Zone - Kids games and activities, snacks, changing station and more. 
Coordinated by the Culver Community Elementary PTO Sponsored by: Ted and Julia Dunn

4:30 p.m: Flag Ceremony - Salute The Troops - Outside of the Lions Club Depot Building
A salute to those who have served, are currently serving, and prepare to serve in the U.S. Military, keynote speaker, a 21 Gun Volley, and our current VFW Post 6919 members and Auxilary. Sponsored BY First Farmers Bank and Trust

The Roy Shepard Memorial Fund was established in 2024 to honor the legacy of Roy Shepard, a beloved and deeply involved member of the Culver community. Roy played a vital role in revitalizing Culver, helping to attract new businesses and serving as the first president of the Culver Lakefest an event he helped found and which has become a cherished local tradition. His passion for community extended far beyond economic development; Roy was also a talented musician who performed in several bands and contributed for many years as a percussionist in the Maxinkuckee Players theatre productions. The Roy Shepard Memorial Fund celebrates Roy’s enduring love for music and his lasting contributions to the cultural and civic life of Culver.
