DHS Open Enrollment for the 2024 - 2025 School Year

OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Accepting Online Submissions and applications:
8:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 through
4:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024

DHS enrollment open to:
- All 8th grade students in Polk County who are interested in attending DHS.
- Students currently attending 8lh grade at Discovery Academy (DALA) MUST apply. DA LA students DO NOT automatically roll up to DHS.
- All incoming 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders in Polk County who are not currently attending DHS.
- Any student currently attending DHS will not need to apply unless they are retained.
- Students who are currently on the Discovery High School waiting list for the 2023-2024 school year MUST reapply to for the 2024-2025 school year

Discovery Academy of Lake Alfred's Open Enrollment is January 16th - January 29th for the 24/25 school year for grades 6th, 7th and 8lh graders.

DHS Applications will be available beginning on January 16, 2024 online at www.discovervhighschool.org

Transportation is NOT provided to all areas of the county. It is possible that you to transport your child to and from school. If you need more information about transportation, please 863-295-5955 and speak to Betty Newman.
