From: Douglas Fourth of JulyThe focus of the Fourth of July in Douglas has always been on the children and the community coming together to celebrate. Competition including ballgames, and fire hose events between Juneau and Douglas have gone back through our history to the days the Treadwell Mine was in operation.

Flag Day Decorate to Celebrate
Douglas property owners are encouraged to decorate their property in Red, White & Blue colors, bunting, banners, flags, flowers, party lights & etc.by 5:00 PM for judging. We ask them to leave the decorations through Independence Day, July 4th.
