DOVER - On May 1, 2025, Governor Matt Meyer celebrated his first 100 days in office by highlighting a series of bold, people-first initiatives that have already begun to reshape Delaware’s future. From education and healthcare to housing and economic development, Meyer’s administration has taken swift action to deliver real results for working families across the state.?

“In just 100 days, we’ve shown that government can move fast, solve problems, and deliver results that matter to Delawareans,” said Governor Matt Meyer. “This is just the beginning. Education: Investing in Classrooms

• Declared a statewide literacy emergency
• Proposed $75 million to raise educator pay
• Proposed $6 million in direct-to-classroom literacy assistance
• Leading the way to get cell phones out of classrooms
• Collaborating with the legislature to pass a holistic school funding reform framework before the summer

Healthcare: Expanding Access and Building Capacity

• Expanding mobile health units in underserved communities
• Eliminating $50 million in medical debt for hardworking Delawareans
• Launched the Farm-to-Pharmacy pilot program because food is medicine
