Tanger Outlets National Harbor Offers Full Line-Up of August Events

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. (July 31, 2025) – Tanger Outlets National Harbor is ending the summer season with a full lineup of community events, including the Back-to-School Bash, a Mzansi Youth Choir Performance and the Hoop it Up Basketball Tournament. Shoppers can also enjoy Tanger Deal Days throughout August, with weekly deals from top brands on Back-to-School must-haves.

Back-to-School Bash & Stuff the Bus

Sunday, Aug. 10

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. *Stuff the Bus ends at 7 p.m.

Back-to-School Bash near Columbia and Stuff the Bus is by GAP

Families are invited to celebrate Maryland’s Tax-Free Week with a free Back-to-School Bash featuring music, games, giveaways and school supply surprises. All day, guests can also support local students by donating school supplies during the Stuff the Bus drive in partnership with The EVOLVE Foundation, benefiting Oxon Hill and Forest Heights elementary schools.

Mzansi Youth Choir Performance

Saturday, Aug. 23

Shoppers can enjoy a special live performance by the world-renowned Mzansi Youth Choir from Soweto, South Africa. As part of their cultural exchange program in Washington, D.C., the choir will share their powerful harmonies and vibrant energy in an inspiring celebration of global music and culture.

Hoop It Up Basketball Tournament

Saturday, Aug. 30

10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Next to the Trailhead

Players ages 10 and up can hit the court for the ultimate showdown at the 3x3 Basketball Tournament, open to all skill levels. Teams can register for $250 at HoopItUp.com to compete in this high-energy event packed with fun, competition and community spirit.
