Sturgeon Bay, WI (August 12, 2025) - Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) announces the appointment of two new additions to the team during July. Janette Crancich has stepped into the role of General Manager and Lisa K. Adams is the Marketing & Events Manager. Both appointments are expanded positions within the organization.

“We are thrilled that Janette and Lisa are joining the team here at TAP. Their wealth of experience and knowledge will help us expand our reach throughout Northeast Wisconsin. With them on the team, I know we will achieve wonderful results,” said Jacob Janssen, the Jackie & Steve Kane artistic director of Third Avenue PlayWorks.

Janette Crancich holds a BFA in Stage Management from Stephen F Austin State University. Prior to arriving in Sturgeon Bay, Janette was at Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois for eight years as a Box Office Associate, Accounting Associate, and most recently as the Accounting Manager.

Janette was also the Managing Director at Red Theater Chicago in Chicago, Illinois from 2013 to 2017, and played the role of Freelance Stage Manager, Production Manager, and Designer at Chicago theaters, including Ghostlight Ensemble, Red Theater Chicago, Artemisia, About Face Theatre, and New Millennium.

“When I took my first theatre class at the age of twelve, I never would have guessed how impactful the extra curricular would be for my life.” says Janette, “And I’m excited that my new theatrical home is in the beautiful Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.” 

Lisa K. Adams brings a lifetime of theatre experience to her role as Marketing & Events Manager. Lisa was raised in a theatre family and first tread the boards at the age of eight, she served on her first backstage crew at the age of twelve, and has continued to be involved on and off the stage in various theaters throughout the years.

She brings over twenty years of marketing and event planning experience to TAP. During nearly a decade in the radio industry, Lisa had the opportunity to plan events from wedding vendor shows and motorcycle giveaways to meetings and client events. In 2013, a former radio colleague recommended her to a hotel client and she spent six years with Hostmark  Hospitality Group out of Schaumburg, Illinois as a Director of Sales & Marketing, Marketing Manager, and Area Marketing Manager for a variety of hotels and resorts. Lisa was most recently the Marketing Manager at Blue Harbor Resort with a focus on community building and sat on the board of Visit Sheboygan.
