From: Wethersfield Historical SocietyWethersfield, Connecticut, December 10, 2025. Wethersfield Historical Society (WHS) announces the formal launch of an executive search, with the assistance of EOS Transitions, for the organization’s next executive director.
The Wethersfield Historical Society’s Governing Board looks forward to working with the new executive director to continue the society’s mission to “preserve and promote Wethersfield’s history and culture to inspire people today and tomorrow.” The new executive director will take the reins of the organization at a time of both opportunity and challenge. WHS has many strengths to build from and has a tremendous opportunity to tap into Wethersfield’s increasingly diverse population. At the same time, the new executive director will be tasked with ensuring the organization’s long-term financial stability.
The Board of Director’s Transition Team has been working with EOS Transitions, thanks to a grant from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, to complete an organizational assessment, finalize the position profile, and position the organization for a successful executive search. The search is now formally open and posted on https://eostransitions.com/open-searches/. Those interested in the position or with any questions about the search should contact lead Transition Consultant, Catherine Bradshaw, at cbradshaw@eostransitions.com.
