Congregation Israel is a Modern orthodox synagogue located in Northern suburban New Jersey. We pride ourselves on the warm, welcoming environment of our shul. The Springfield community offers a family oriented environment, proximity to convenient transportation to New York City, choices in Jewish Day Schools, access to a mikva and housing alternatives.

We offer stimulating adult and teen education programs drawing from leading scholars and rabbis of the New York metropolitan area and surrounding Yeshivot. Springfield is also privileged to have its own Yeshiva (Tiferes Boruch), where individual learning may be pursued.

Congregation Israel invites you to come daven with us and join our growing community. Our community is open to everyone: families, singles, seniors and unaffiliated Jews.
