Located near the northern tip of the San Joaquin Valley, the Empire Union School District is a suburban elementary district with a current enrollment of approximately 3,000 students. Covering 25 square miles, the District includes east Modesto, the community of Empire, and adjacent farm areas.

Living in a rapidly changing world, we as educators face an enormous challenge; to prepare our young people to meet the diverse demands of the future. The District is committed to preparing students to be productive, actively contributing citizens. We are proud of the many fine programs we offer and of the outstanding staff who provide the excellent, quality education for our young people.
