Hello from the Spreng families! Brothers: Jon, Andy, and Tom own and operate Horsetail Run, a small farm located in the middle of Mohican Country. We have direct access to the equestrian trail and are almost completely surrounded by the Mohican State Park. Five generations of our family have walked though these doors and we are proud to invite you to our farm. We strive to please every guest with hard work, dedication, and old school family values just as our great-grandma instilled in us.
Ethel and Ralph Doup bought these 120 acres in the 1940s and raised one daughter, one granddaughter, and three great-grandsons here. Ethel was alive for the birth of her two great-great-granddaughters who now live on the same sand stone foundation that she and Ralph built almost 80 years ago.
We will be featuring a great variety of seasonally fresh fruits and vegetables at our farm stand and orchard along with a petting zoo, an 8 acre corn maze, hiking trails, hay rides, fire wood, and bonfires. Please continue to check our web site for updates on future activities and events.
