Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that every student graduates and has the ability to succeed in the global community. We will know we have fulfilled our mission when:

All students graduate.

All students meet or exceed state and district standards at every level, including academic learning standards.

All students develop a life-plan at the 5th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grades.

All students demonstrate an ability to succeed in a diverse environment as demonstrated by a significant reduction in behavioral incidents.

District standardized test scores are at, or above, the state norm.

An annual survey of students, parents, and community members shows a favorable approval rating for the Oceanside Unified School District.
