Our mission is to provide our students instruction in information skills and inspire them to become lifelong learners. We believe that if students discover the joy and excitement of reading, they will develop an appreciation of reading and learning. Every student is interested in something, if we can find a book or information on something that "sparks" their interest, then the fire for learning will be lit! We try to accomplish this through storytimes, booktalks, author studies, illustrator studies, recorded books, and free reading time to read books or magazines.

Our school motto is - "Making a Difference". We value ourselves in being attuned to cutting edge educational research in making our motto more of a reality than ever for our boys and girls. Our teachers integrate hands-on activities, technology, and various traditional and non-traditional teaching strategies into our curriculum to cater to the learning styles of our students.
