It is our goal that the students attending our program develop to their fullest academic and personal potential through our high expectations and a traditional instructional program.
Sequoia Elementary's staff is committed to deliver the best education to each student. Each classroom teacher refines their instructional practices and learning environment to meet the needs of our students with an emphasis of mastery of the State Standards for their grade level.
The planning, implementing, and reviewing to meet the criteria of the academic performance of the school is an outcome of partnered efforts by the total school community. There is a shared understanding of what the students will learn, the delivery of instruction in order to support student learning , and the means of support for the learner.
The school community works together to support each student to being successful academically, socially, and physically. Partnerships between school and home are reflected in the progress of the school as a whole.
